It’s anyone’s guess who will be the next president, but the creators of Pivit, an interactive “marketplace,” say that bringing together the guesses of thousands of people can yield the probability, at a given moment, that a candidate will win the White House. The website takes into account the consensus of the players, data from gambling markets, news events and other factors to produce what it calls the “live odds” of an outcome. Here are the Pivit odds since Jan. 1 on the big questions in the presidential contest.
